Busyness

Well, these past couple of weeks have been pretty dang busy, but it's been great!

Been attempting to keep up with the knitting, guitaring, and - of course - drawing...!

For those of you who know me, I'm an CRAZY obsessed person who attempts to use all of her
free time to do nothing but draw. (When I'm not doing guitar, school, or chores etc...)

Well, I've been really slacking on the drawing lately, and haven't finished this month's SSROTU (Starscape: Realm of the Unknown) comics, ((WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE 3 WEEKS AGO.))>:(

Crap- oh well,

I've been really excited about the guitaring this month, because I'm learning the awesome
song, Aqua Lung - Jethro Tull. I LOVE that song, and it sounds sooo freaking cool on the guitar.

Sorry for the stupid post (once again) but I can't think of anything good to write about!!
I'm obviously not an interesting person...lol...

Well, I've gotta' go watch paint dry...
Signing out.

Random picture post!

I found this awesome setting on our camera called

"Super Macro."

It increases the detail so you can get up close
fine pictures without it blurring.

Practice shots:

Sam is thinking, "What the heck are you doing you crazy human??"

As for my eye, it's just kinda creepy...

Sorry, but I just had to post something dumb and geek-like.

Scarf Pics

Ok, Here are some pics of my "swell scarf" I mentioned
I was working on in the previous post...

Sorry for the crummy pics, I'm a horrible photographer...

Anyway, I'm using Becca's yarn she spun up
for me, a soy silk blend
(of which I'm SOOO protective and won't let
anyone come within a 10 foot radius, grr!!),
and some yarn called "OnLine Linie Pinto 174."

All in all, It is a very cute and SOFT scarf
that transitions from one colour to the next.

I'm still too skittish to try anything with
a pattern, so I guess I'll be making awesome
fuzzy scarves for the rest of my life.

Chilling out

Well, today was one of those "do absolutely nothing" type of days,
and to be honest, it felt REALLY good- for the most part.

Here is today's adventure:

Woke up with an upset stomach, ate two cookies, tried not to barf,
felt a little better after awhile, helped dad work on the car, ate a doughnut,
felt like crap again, knitted on my really swell scarf for two hours (hooray!).

Ok, ok, my self-recovery skills stink, but the
temptation of sweets and goodies was overwhelming...
I mean, come on, fresh cookies and doughnuts?!

HOW THE HECK AM I SUPPOSE TO RESIST??
(fine print: mom says it's called will-power )

Well, I'm feeling better and will keep you
informed if I'm still alive...
